Hey Reader

Most creators spend hours perfecting their videos… only to have them completely ignored.

Not because the content is bad.

But because something much smaller - and far more powerful - is quietly working against them.

In this issue, we’re diving into one of the highest-leverage skills you can develop… and why almost everyone gets it wrong.

This week’s podcast

Why Most Creators Get Titles Wrong with Jake Thomas - EP14

What if the difference between 1,000 views and 100,000 views came down to just a few words?

In this episode, Jake Thomas breaks down the real psychology behind what makes people click - and why trying to be “creative” might actually be hurting your growth.

This is one of my favorite episodes so far, and inside we cover things like...

  • The counterintuitive rule that instantly improves your titles
  • Why copying the right way beats originality every time
  • The simple framework top creators use (but never talk about)
  • How a single word can completely change performance
  • The real job of a title (and why most people misunderstand it)

If you care about getting more views without creating more content… you’ll want to watch this one.

Did you know?

One of the biggest mistakes creators make is writing their title after they’ve already made the video.

According to Jake, this puts you at a massive disadvantage.

Instead, the most effective creators start with the title first - because it forces you to anchor your content around something people actually want to click.

A practical way to do this is by separating two things:

  • Proven topics and
  • Proven formats

First, identify topics that are already working by looking at your competitors (your “Dream 10”).

Then, find formats that consistently perform well across different niches (your “Model 10”).

When you combine the two, you dramatically increase your chances of creating something that gets attention.

Another key shift is understanding the real job of a title.

It’s not to describe your video.

It’s to get the click.

Once you start thinking this way, everything changes - from how you structure your ideas to how you script your content.

Quote of the week

“If you have a good YouTube title, that could be the difference between a thousand views or a hundred thousand views just by changing those seven to 10 words.” - Jake Thomas

Oh, and one more thing…

I never thought I would do this, but I finally got into Vibe Coding.

And...

I AM ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!

Within just a week and a half, I was able to create two amazing new apps for Vubli, still in development, and I can't believe that I was able to do this just with Vibe Coding!

Absolutely unreal.

I've already started using the actual app for creating my videos. You can see the latest one here.

Still relatively basic, but it's already saving me a TON of time for creating my videos.

More info coming on this soon.

Ok… that’s a wrap
